Gulf Coast Immediate Care Center opened in May of 1984.
We have provided health care to the Fort Walton Beach area
community for over 25 years. We not only provide family
health care but also minor emergencies, school, sports and
even day care physicals to kids of all ages, workers
compensation and occupational injuries, drug/alcohol
screenings and DOT and non-DOT physicals. We also have an
in-house lab and are able to provide x-rays. Walk-ins as
well as appointments are welcome. We invite you to visit us for your family health
care needs.

Our Physicians
Robert V. Siegel, M.D.
The owner and medical director of GCIC. A graduate of
the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Dr.
Siegel underwent two years of postgraduate training in
general surgery before embarking on a career in
Emergency and General Practice. Dr. Siegel has a special
interest in Ambulatory Care Medicine and is personally
involved with all medical care rendered at the center.
Steve Switzer, PA-C
Began his training in the Air Force as a Corpsman during
the Vietnam conflict. He then finished his undergraduate
degree at the university of Arizona and the PA program
at the University of Kentucky. The first few years of
his career was as a U.S. Public Health Officer, working
primarily in Immigrations. He Has worked as a Physicians
Assistant in Primary Care for over 20 years.
Marcos Otero, PA-C
Is an Air Force trained Physician Assistant. He Holds a
Bachelors degree as a Physician Assistant from the
University of Oklahoma Marcos has served in many
different clinics during his twenty five years of
service and retired from the Eglin Air Force Base Family
Practice Clinic in 2000. He takes special interest
in Family Practice and Preventative Medicine.
